Privacy Policy for CardCompass

Thank you for using CardCompass. Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your data when you use our mobile application.

1. Information We Collect

• Advertising Data: We use Google AdMob to display ads. AdMob may collect data such as device identifiers and user interactions with ads to show personalized or non-personalized ads depending on your consent.
• Conversion Data: We use Firebase APIs to help track conversions from our ad campaigns. This tells the developer if you installed CardCompass after viewing one of our ads.
• Device Info: AdMob may also access basic device info such as IP address, OS version, and device model.
• Usage Data: We may collect anonymized app usage data and crash reports to improve performance. No personally identifiable information is collected by us directly.
• Location Data: We may collect a user's precise location data in order to serve relevant notifications to the user.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to:

• Serve ads via Google AdMob based on your preferences
• Track conversion data from our ad campaigns
• Improve app performance and stability
• Send you location based notifications

3. User Consent & GDPR Compliance

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), we request your consent before showing personalized ads. You may choose between personalized or non-personalized ads.

You can change your consent preferences at any time within the app.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party service:

5. Data Retention

We do not store any personal data on our servers. Any data collected is handled by Google under their own privacy policies. Location data is not transmitted to the developer in any way unless the user manually sends diagnostic logs to the developer. Location data is not used for advertising purposes and is not given to Google Ad Mob.

Should a user send debug logs to the developer, location data is included in these logs. The developer will retain these logs for no longer than 90 days from the date recieved. After 90 days, these logs will be permanently destroyed. This data will only be used to improve CardCompass, and will never be shared with any third party.
